The FUTURA TEAM has been participating in competitions reserved to solar powered vehicles since 1996. During the first competition in 1996 the FUTURA TEAM paid the price of inexperience and was forced to abbandon the race. From then on, together with the strenghth of a new car, the FUTURA TEAM has always finished the competitions classifing in impotant positions with respect to the technological vehicles and financial resources available of the other teams with which it confronted itself. FUTURA 2 has proved to be up to the mark in every situation, from the difficult Suzuki circuit to the hard australian route and to the exhausting american route. The FUTURA TEAM intends to continue participating in these important races that permit us to confront ourselves with the actual themes of future technology and to inform a maggior number of people possible about the importance of using an ecological source of energy. -------------------------- end page ---------------------------- |
